The indicative cost with a car for up to 4 people is €220.00 each way from and to Pisa airport and €300.00 each way from and to Florence airport. How to arrive to Piombino with the train
In order to reach the port of Piombino by train it is necessary to get off at Piombino Marittima where there is a small railway station. The exit of the station allows you to easily reach both the maritime station and the embarkations themselves. Some lines have Campiglia Marittima as their terminus, from here it is necessary to change trains or take a bus that reaches Piombino Marittima station in 20 minutes.
For train timetables we recommend consulting the Trenitalia website. The Trainline website is also very useful: here it is possible to buy tickets for Trenitalia, Italo, Trenord etc.
Be careful to choose Piombino-Marittima as the arrival station. We advise you to book tickets in advance online or at authorized ticket offices, as there is only one self-service ticket machine in Piombino Marittima station.

How to get around Elba Island
